Basically Digital TV works on a power level. If you have a Digital Television signal that is above the Digital Television power threshold you will receive Digital Television. Most houses have perfect Digital TV reception.

The problem with Digital TV is that it relies on perfect cabling to the TV if you have pixilation there are three things it could be the first and most common is old cabling that has a small break or corrosion at a connection terminal causing your TV pixilation.

The second is the TV Signal is fluctuating at the TV antenna caused by obstructions between your house and the Television Antenna transmitter.

The third is a High frequency electrical switching pulse. The most common cause of this I have witnessed is an electric fence.
