Fixed Price Alarm Service Sydney
Our fixed priced alarm service call costs $180 includes GST plus parts. The service applies to both domestic and commercial alarm systems that contain up to 16 zones capacity. This fixed price alarm service only applies to all Sydney suburbs. The $180 service call covers the initial call and subsequent calls if required. If we need to go and get parts, say a replacement panel or we need to order parts and return to replace the part. The total cost is still $180.
The service call doesn’t just cover the repair of the fault; we also go over the entire alarm system and test its total functionality. We have found that there are a number of standard faults that alarm systems get after they reach a certain age. These faults can spring up from time to time over a period of a couple of years and cost the owner every time they go into fault. Our service call will address all the usual issues in one go. After the service has been performed we guarantee the alarm from service faults for one year.
What does the alarm service entail?
Visually check and electronically test all tamper switches, replace if necessary
Test and replace battery if required
Test alarm panel auxiliary supply, charging circuit and AC power pack
Test all sirens and strobes and replace if required
Test wireless equipment and replace batteries if required
Walk test alarm devices and ensure correct operation
Test and replace any faulty alarm devices located
What do the general parts cost?
Alarm Battery 12v/7A = $25
Wireless device batteries cost from $2 to $12 each depending on the type
Tamper switches = $8
What isn’t covered by this service?
1. The devices like sirens and detectors have to be accessible from standard 1.8m step ladders and up to 6.5m extension ladders for outside siren box work. This Alarm service does not cover scissor lifts and boom lifts to access devices.
2. This fixed price service call does not cover faulty cabling. Although rare but possible alarm system cables can be damaged by rodent infestations. Cables can also be damaged during the construction process, faults caused by cables being crushed or a nail piercing the cable. These faults can come out years later and can be very hard to find it is often better just replacing cables. This service is not covered by the $180 fixed price alarm servicing
3. Lightning jobs, lightning can cause some strange problems including damaging cable runs, alarm panels and devices.
4. After hours service calls, the fixed priced servicing deal only applies between 9AM and 5PM
