In general Digital Television reception in Bowral is quite good.
There are some black spots, some that come to mind, is a hollow situated in East Bowral around Alice Avenue, on Bowral Street near Mittagong Creek and Phillip Street at Burradoo.
The main problem with reception at other locations is the trees. I find the reception can change annually when the annual trees get their new growth which can affect the strength of the Digital signal path to your aerial.
The good thing about reception in the Southern Highlands is we have two TV towers to choose from and I always find that you can get reception from at least one of them, that’s why it is so important to survey with a Digital Field Strength Meter at the Antenna to ensure your aerial is pointing in the right direction.
